Lind-Bohanon, at the north city limits, between the Mississippi River and Humboldt, has a reputation for being a quieter neighborhood with a low resident turnover rate. Some families have lived in their houses here for two or three generations. In the Shingle Creek and Victory areas, homes are slightly more expensive and incomes are slightly higher when compared to the rest of Camden, although all of the neighborhoods are modest in comparison to the rest of Minneapolis. Shingle Creek, west of Humboldt and north of 49th Avenue, is made up of bungalows and ramblers built primarily in the 1950s after the lowlands were drained. The creek cuts diagonally through the neighborhood and creates a natural green space.
