Great Curb Appeal
So much about this home is impressive and unique. Note the mansard roof and the architectural shingles (replaced 2017), one of the design details I love about this house. The white brick entrance steps were added last year. Striking red double front doors and two lion sculptures greet you as you enter the home.
Outstanding Floor Plan
We love the layout of this home which lends itself seamlessly to the outdoors. The large windows soak every room with sunlight and provide views of the groomed expanses of lawn and beautifully landscaped yard. The rooms are expansive and open. We like this feature, a lot. Last but not least, something you do not often see in single-story homes, the bedrooms are in a separate wing of the house which affords quiet and privacy.
The open and bright kitchen is a delight. There are plenty of cabinets to fill (31 doors and 15 drawers) and newer stainless steel appliances, sink, and faucet. Within the past year, under cabinet lighting was added, the cabinets were painted white and the hardware replaced.

So the moment of truth arrives when I pick my favorite room in the house. It was tough to choose, but I’m going with the Music/Sunroom/Conservatory/Library. Currently, this room functions as a music room and a prime location for nurturing of plants. This area has the feel of a 4 season room with its head out to the backyard and newly installed no maintenance deck. Large enough to adapt to the particular needs of your family, it could also be a perfect home office, playroom, or reading room. I can also see a small dining table by the sliding doors (replaced this year) for winter or rainy days when you still want to enjoy looking out at nature.
The Enchanted Gardens
This home is a pure delight in an outdoors. The backyard has a vast expanse of lush green lawn surrounding by flowering perennials, trees, and shrubs. There are six individual garden areas in the front, side and back yards. (We will be updating photos in a couple of weeks when the flowers begin to bloom)
The deck was upgraded in the past year with maintenance-free material. We love the way it wraps around to the master bedroom as well. It’s perfect for summer grilling, entertaining and dining al fresco.
