Get Ready for Good Things to Happen in 2015

The New Year is freshly fallen snow the morning after a storm...free of footprints and markings of travel...as each day unfolds, so, too will be your path into the New Year, footprints in the snow.

Who doesn’t love a new beginning, a fresh start, or a clean slate? So pour the bubbly and welcome in the New Year as you escort 2014 out the door! Welcome 2015 with your 12 months of new opportunities, 52 weeks of success stories, and 365 days to dream bigger, sparkle more and shine brighter than we did last year!

Predictions for the 2015 Real Estate market are positive and point to a better year for both buyers and sellers. Home values will continue to rise. Interest rates will remain low at least in the first part of the year. Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae will now back mortgages with as little as 3% down.  Banks will be easing up on credit requirements.  All of these factors combined with high rents make home ownership financially more desirable inspiring Millenniums to finally be enter the market as first time home buyers.  Current owners will be anxious to trade up and take advantage of historically low interest rates. Baby Boomers who have been waiting for home values to increase will sell the large family home and downsize. Folks who got hit with foreclosures in 2008 will have them falling off their credit reports and be entering the market again.  It’s going to be a good year!

Team leader Joe Houghton is ready! “I believe 2015 is going to be my best year ever, personally and for the whole Minnesota Property Group! I’m excited about our ambitious marketing approach and about the team!”  Better yet, here’s Joe speaking for himself as only he does best!

Here at the Minnesota Property Group we are over-the-top excited about the coming year and the great potential we see in the 2015 market! We grew the team in 2014. Lindy Medeiros (me) took on the responsibilities of Marketing Director, Realtor Andrew Klinkner came on board, and we welcomed John Williams as our intern extraordinaire! Working both on the front line and behind the scenes, we join Joe Houghton leading the team, and seasoned Realtors Derek Irving and Mike Milne, each of us focused on customer service and ready to rock in the New Year by providing our clients with the best real estate experience on the planet! Here’s how.

Last week we launched our brand new Minnesota Property Group Website.  We have several sites, filling different market niches but this is our pride and joy! It has the best property search application I have ever used, and great tools like mortgage calculators and home value estimators to assist you in the process of buying or selling a home. Read about us, who we are and what we do.  Avail yourself of our informative content on real estate, the market, buying, selling, and investing. Get a snapshot of our Metro communities, we know them and like to share! Check out our blog! It’s not just informative, it’s fun!

In addition to our website, we have plans for a newsletter.  We want to generate some excitement and fun so we are going to dish up some contests complete with prizes! We always welcome questions or suggestions so don’t be shy because our plan is to layer on new ideas and improvements as the year progresses.

For our sellers, we have an updated marketing plan that includes, professional home photos, more video content, feature listings with detailed, virtual tours pointing out all the lovely little details that that make your home special and desirable. We are already active on social media and are ramping up in the coming year.  Facebook, Google +, Twitter, Zillow, Trulia, Pinterest and You Tube, we are everywhere you need us to be!

So how about you?  Is this the year you buy that new home?  Get that new job.  Write that book? Start that new business?  Whatever you plan to do, Joe Houghton and the entire Minnesota Property Group Team wish you success and happiness in the coming New Year!
